I’ve been living near the San Francisco Marina for two years and have been on the hunt for the best healthy foods. Here’s my list of the best healthy food in San Francisco Marina!

Blue Barn

Vibe: Lovely place for a long lunch date with a friend or loved one. Lots of seating outside and in the back, with great natural lighting all around.

What to order: Thai chicken salad and casbah salads are my favorite. Truffle sandwich if you’re in the mood for something decedant.

Souvla

Vibe: Best for pick-up because they have limited seating, but still a cute vibe inside if you can snag a table. Quaint and clean vibe.

What to order: The veg salad here is elite. Roasted white sweet potato, garlic yogurt, olives, toasted walnut, pickled red onion, pea shoots, mizithra cheese. Yum!

Mixt

Vibe: Usually do to-go from Mixt, but they have some seating. Very casual but friendly atmosphere.

What to order: The puebla salad here is my go-to. The roasted poblano dressing is to die for.

Wildseed

Vibe: Sit-down, definitely fancier than theother spots on this list, but still a casual vibe. Great for brunch, lunch and dinner. Or drinks! The Holy Basil is one of my favorite drinks in the whole city. This place does everything.

What to order: Mezze plate for the table, then share a pizza and salad. The ensalada andalucia and green forest salads are my favorite. If you’re on a solo date, the bowls are divine.

Urban Remedy

Vibe: Great for grab-and-go since there are no tables here. Cute atmosphere and great place to pick up snacks, drinks, and meals.

What to get: Their cold-pressed juices are great for summer days or when you’re needing some extra nutrients after traveling.
